Who Was the Covenant Made With and Who Else Was Included in This Covenant?
I will allow The Scriptures to Testify and stand on Their on merit as being the Word of YaHuWeH!
Notice what YaHuWeH states, in the verses below, about there being only ONE Command, regardless of your bloodline, for He operates through adoption as He did with Ruth, a Moabite that would one day have an Heir to the Holy Throne of YaHuWeH via King David; that was none other than, YaHuShua , The Messiah!! Neither YaHuWeH or YaHuShua Changes!! Note, also, Joseph/Yoseph married an Egyptian who had Ephraim and Manasseh; therefore, those who came out of Egypt were not Jews, but a mixed multitude called, Israel, who did become YaHuWeH’s Wife at Mt. Sinai around the Feast of Shavuot and was ReBorn in Acts on the Feast of Shavuot/Pentecost. The term ‘Jew” was not used until After the Kingdom of Israel split up, which was prophesied to divide in 1st Kings 11:11-13; 11:31-39. The term ‘Jew’ is 1st mentioned in Scripture in Esther 2:5 shortly after their return from Babylonian Exile around 490 B.C.E. Read below beginning with the father of the Hebrew Roots of the Faith of BOTH Houses of Israel, who are the Believing Remnant through YaHuShua, The Messiah:
Now YaHuWeH had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee:
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shall be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
So Abram departed, as YaHuWeH had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He said not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Messiah.
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of Elohim in Messiah, the Torah, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
For if the inheritance be of the Torah, it is no more of promise: but Elohim gave it to Abraham by promise.
Wherefore then what purpose was the Torah? It was added because of transgressions/sin/missing the mark, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but Elohim is One.
Is the Torah then against the promises of Elohim? Elohim forbid: for if there had been a Torah given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the Torah.
But the Scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Messiah YaHuShua might be given to them that believe.
But before faith came, we were kept under the Torah, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Wherefore the Torah was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Messiah, that we might be justified by faith.
But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
For ye are all the children of Elohim by faith in Messiah YaHuShua.
For as many of you as have been baptized into Messiah, have put on Messiah.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Messiah YaHuShua.
And if ye be Messiah’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, YaHuWeH appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am El Shaddia; walk before Me, and be thou perfect.
perfect means whole
And I will make My covenant between Me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
And Abram fell on his face: and Elohim talked with him, saying,
As for Me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shall be a father of many nations.
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
And I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be an Elohim unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their Elohim.
And Elohim said unto Abraham, Thou shall keep My covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
This is My covenant, which ye shall keep, between Me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant between Me and you.
And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken My covenant.
And Elohim said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
And Abraham said unto Elohim, O that Ishmael might live before thee!
And Elohim said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shall call his name Isaac: and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
But My covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
And He left off talking with him, and Elohim went up from Abraham.
And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as Elohim had said unto him.
And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.
And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of YaHuWeH went out from the land of Egypt.
It is a night to be much observed unto YaHuWeH for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of YaHuWeH to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
And YaHuWeH said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the Passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
But every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
In one house shall it be eaten; thou shall not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the Passover to YaHuWeH, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
One Torah shall be to him that is home born, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you.
Ye shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourns among you:
(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
That the land spew not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you.
For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
Therefore shall ye keep Mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am YaHuWeH, your Elohim.
And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shall love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am YaHuWeH your Elohim.
Ye shall have one manner of Torah, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am YaHuWeH, your Elohim.
And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the Passover unto YaHuWeH; according to the ordinance of the Passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
And YaHuWeH was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from YaHuWeH, Elohim of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which YaHuWeH commanded.
Wherefore YaHuWeH said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.
