A Strong Delusion . . . . . you may be programmed to believe error! 2 Thess. 2:7-12

For many centuries, Christians have “believed” specific things to be facts, yet their belief in some of them is unfounded by Scripture. Reality can be masked, or “misdirected”, by the skilled suggestion of magicians, hypnotists, and other deceivers. The “power of suggestion” and the “placebo effect” were both popularized by the research of Dr. Franz Anton Mesmer (1734-1815). Dr. Mesmer studied the power of suggestion; he didn’t discover it – it’s been around since the Fall of mankind. Hypnosis was developed from his research on psychological suggestion. When people are exposed to errors mixed together with the truth, they can become “mesmerized”, moving the line between what is real and what is not real in their belief system based upon opinions – subtly suggested/taught by trusted “teachers” they have made themselves subordinate to. To misdirect is to delude. Certain beliefs are the direct result of the power of suggestion. We can be naturally fascinated by a teacher, and develop the response of aligning our beliefs to his repeated suggestions. The deceived deceivers bring up specific passages of Scripture, then “misdirect” (divert) your thought process to make you think of something other than what the text is actually saying. This is one example of “mesmerization”. A Diversion tactic: ACTS 20 “They” want you to notice one thing; the phrase “first day of the week“, then hope you go numb to following the rest of the chapter. Acts 20:7-38 begins by describing a “gathering” of believers (Natsarim) in a home, an upper room, where they listened to Paul (Shaul) until midnight, since Paul was departing the following morning. This was at Troas, where they had arrived after “the days of unleavened bread” (7 days following Passover). Have you been taught about “Unleavened Bread” or “Passover” as being a part of your annual observances? Also, notice “there were many lamps in the upper room” – this is because it was after dark. At the start of this gathering in the lamp-filled upper room, Sabbath had just ended, and a few of the Natsarim had come together in this home, and had a bite together (breaking bread). It was after sunset, the resting was over. It was officially the “first day of the week” when Sabbath ended at sunset. There was nothing going on here like a “Mass“, or a “communion service“. In fact, no one was “worshipping“. The believers simply wanted to hear Paul (Shaul) before he left town. Next, they sailed on to Miletos, and called the ELDERS of Ephesos there, to hear an important matter. This whole section needs to be carefully studied, because WHAT SHAUL TAUGHT them is over-looked because of the distraction to make you think about how it was “the first day of the week“, stated earlier in the chapter. Get past that, study this chapter closely, and READ THE WARNING Shaul gave to the elders he had called for. It will shake you to your roots, and probably wake-up many of you from a life-long slumber. You should be able to see the “diversion tactic” that has been used to block many people from seeing what Shaul wanted to warn us of. Another diversion tactic is used at 2 Pet. 3:14-18. They try to make you think about Shaul’s letters being “Scriptures“, to distract you from what is being said — it’s another warning to us. Our main job is to overcome the errors, so we can be effective in our service and reach the LOST with the Truth, the Word, the Torah of the Maker of Heaven and Earth. Our message to them is “Repent, for the reign of YHWH draws near.” Repentance means return to the Torah (Ten Words, the Covenant) — but it has been turned into a misunderstanding, where “grace” and “being under law” are considered to be in conflict with each other. To partake of the New Covenant (Jer. 31, Heb. 8), we must receive a love for the Torah, allowing Yahushua to circumcise our hearts with a love for it. “Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them into the Name/יהוה ([Added by man to support the ‘trinity’ doctrine from Egyptian Sun god worship] of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit), teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you.” Mt. 28:19. How much of what He had commanded were they to teach “all the nations”? “. . . all that I have commanded you.” Surely, the 10 Commandments are involved in “all that I have commanded you” — don’t you imagine? This is the work we all do, not just the “leaders” of our assemblies. Really, Yahushua is the only “leader” we have, and “pastors” are simply organizers. And not all pastors do things in the same way, nor is all pastoring the same. There are a variety of functions and members in Yahushua’s Body, His living Temple. Our ministry (work) is different from most others, but no more or less vital to the health of the overall Body. The answer to the delusion is in Genesis, or what is called “Bereshith” in the original Hebrew, all the way through to Revelation; that we are to rest from all our work as YHWH did on the seventh day of every week. It’s given clearly as a directive in the book of Exodus, the 4th of the Ten Commandments. The Sabbath is spoken of 9 times in the book of Acts. It is called “a sign” (oth) between YHWH and Israel, the only sign of the “everlasting Covenant” (Ex. 31:13-17, Ez. 20:12-20, directly referred to at Heb. 4). At Hebrews 4, we are told specifically that the “rest” involves the 7th day of the week, and that for the “people of Elohim” there remains a Sabbath-keeping. How could they get around that? Simple; by misdirecting the meaning, and deluding the listeners. They have even “suggested” picking a day out of every 7 to rest — but when you pick the correct one, you’re “legalistic“. Well, that’s better than being “illegalistic” I’d say. If the Covenant is everlasting, its sign is also: the weekly Sabbath. Our Messiah, Rabbi Yahushua, made the heavens and the Earth, and called them as witnesses to this Covenant, and as long as they endure, the Ten Commandments will stand, not just 9 of them. Not one letter can be altered. The Sabbath He kept is not the one Christianity recognizes, simply because Christianity is a religion ABOUT Him, and is not the same religion He teaches and adheres to Himself. Constantine changed the day of rest to his “SUN-day”. Setting aside the Commandments of YHWH in order to adhere to human traditions is very dangerous, as is worship in a way that is humanly invented. You must think outside of the box to get past some strong deceptions. Many deceptive ideas and customs have been “hidden” in plain sight, openly practiced for all to see. Yet all the while those who promote these ideas have to constantly provide an explanation for them, like a “booster shot”, to keep the masses under the spell of their “vaccination” against the real truth. Being under the spell of their excuses makes the listener “drunk”, and numb to the truth when it does come along. The fact is, those who are “deluded” don’t know they are. If they knew, they would not allow the delusion to continue. The truth comes with a price tag: giving up the comfort of feeling secure in one’s beliefs about reality at any cost in order to attain the truth. It means we have to be prepared to “wake up” and become aware of our previous and/or existing delusions. The movie Matrix comes to mind immediately, since it portrays these circumstances clearly. Some of us are completely “awake“, but walking around in a world with the majority of people “dreaming” a reality that’s not really there at all. We want to share the truth with you, but you don’t even realize that you’re “dreaming” or living in a constructed matrix someone designed for you to remain deluded in. 2 Thess 2:7-12 is critical to understand that there is delusion, the working of error: “7 For the mystery of lawlessness (the secret of “Torahlessness”, living without law) is already at work; only he who now restrains (controls) will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Master will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason (Elohim) will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” The word “delusion” used here is translated from the Greek word, PLANOS, #4106 — and means a wrong opinion, errors in morals, a leading astray, a working of error. How can we tell if we are under a spell or hypnotic trance? Is it possible to test for such a condition in ourselves? The only sure test to find out if we are deluded is to do a personal topical study of Scripture, and compare what we learn from this study with our “reality” as we have perceived it to be. We must be careful to let Scripture speak alone, without our bringing any former beliefs to the study we are undertaking. This will be very sobering to everyone who takes time to test themselves in this way. If you are like 99% of sincere Christians, you honestly believe that “Sun-Day” is the “Christian Sabbath”. At the same time, you may have been told that “Jewish” believers in the same Messiah may observe the usual “7th day” of the week Sabbath, because they were “BORN” as Jewish-folk. So, we immediately have re-built a dividing wall that had been removed by Messiah’s death and resurrection (Eph. 2:14). Instead of ONE body, we have TWO bodies of Messiah, based on the distinction of being BORN as a Jewish person, or as a Gentile person. This surely cannot be — it turns out to only be one of many “human traditions“, brought about by a working of error (a delusion!). As you slowly read the book of Acts, you will discover the truth of the matter – never has the 4th Commandment (the Sabbath) been “changed” by any doctrine originating in Scripture. The first chapter of Acts will reveal this to you. A delusion (working of error) has hypnotically entranced most of the world in a deception practiced openly. Oh, but there’s much, much more to be revealed. Are you prepared to fully awaken? The next level will cause you great pain, yet you will be so grateful for reaching it. You will meet with your pastor after you awaken, and he will show you a side of himself you never knew to exist. He will seem to be “asleep” to you.

Topics that you should personally study to test yourself for being deluded:

The Sabbath – has anyone changed which day is the Sabbath mentioned in the 10 Commandments? Sure they have – it was imposed by Roman emperor Constantine I. But can the change be found in Scripture? Well, yes; but it’s a bad thing — read Daniel 7:25. It may be that it is linked to the “mark of the beast” (Rev. 13) since “buying and selling” is NOT allowed to be done on the Sabbath Day. Those having the beast’s mark (Sun-Day?) are allowed to buy and sell, but those having YHWH’s mark (the Sabbath) are not permitted to buy and sell — but this is self imposed on these obedient folks, only pertaining to the day of rest. Scripture refers to those who disobey the Covenant (Torah) as dogs and beasts. The Commandments — and those obedient to them out of love — reveal who is of YHWH and who is a servant of the deceiver of this world. (And this article is about delusion, deception, and error).

The Personal Name of our Creator – has it been intentionally concealed and removed from the common translations, according to their own admission in the preface?

Have you ever looked up the word “GOD” in a good encyclopedia to learn the origins of the word?

Messiah’s real Name – Is there only one (Acts 4:12), and is it Yahushua or Jesus?

The re-newed, or “New Covenant” – What is it? Can we find it in the Scriptures? (see Jer. 31, Ez. 36, Heb. 8).

Bible – is this word found in the Scriptures, or ever used by Scripture to refer to itself? Or, is it a Pagan deity’s name? (investigate Biblia, Biblos).

To wet your appetite for more, here’s a glimpse at some TRUTH: This is what the Encyclopedia Americana (1945 Edition) says under the topic “GOD”: “GOD (god): Common Teutonic word for personal object of religious worship, formerly applicable to super-human beings of heathen myth; on conversion of Teutonic races to Christianity, term was applied to Supreme Being.” NO! IT CAN’T BE TRUE! But it is true. Rabbi Yahushua haMashiach informed us that the Scriptures bear witness of Him (Jn. 5:39). He also told us He is the Master of the Sabbath (Mk 2:28), and to pray that our flight not be in winter or on a Sabbath (Mt. 24:20 – an END TIME warning). It is the sign of the everlasting Covenant (Ex. 31, Ez. 20), yet following human misdirection, we are easily deluded to believe it has been changed to Sun-Day. Human reasoning hypnotically explains our reality for us, while Scripture is completely silent about any change in Sabbath observance. Paul (or Shaul), the same fellow that most people quote to explain how they don’t have to obey the Covenant (Torah), told us to “TEST” ourselves to see if we are in the true faith (2Cor. 13:5). I would ask no more of any of you. If YHWH is going to severely punish the nations that fail to observe the feast of Booths (Sukkoth) during the Millennial Reign (Zech. 14), how much will He punish those who completely ignore ALL His Sabbaths?

Another question to ask yourself is; Would He punish anyone who stepped out of the line of “lemmings” and actually obeyed Him by resting on the 7th day of every week? Only the other lemmings are going to get upset over it. When sent to “basic training“, young men are re-programmed to suppress their moral character, and to obey orders to KILL on demand. This “brain-washing” doesn’t work on each individual, however the goal is to have enough affected that the objective is still achieved. When the principles of psychological suggestion are applied to religious control, the same effect is achieved — repeated suggestions to suppress moral character (the conscience that warns us of being out-of-bounds) will brain-wash most of those exposed to it.

TEST EVERYTHING YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT, INCLUDING THIS ARTICLE, WITH THE WORD OF YHWH — HE DOES NOT CHANGE. “SABBATH” UNDERSTOOD HERE IS THE ACTUAL 7TH DAY OF THE WEEK, NOT THE CATHOLIC SABBATH CALLED “SUN-DAY” (THE CHANGE ENFORCED BY CONSTANTINE, EDICT OF MILAN 321 CE). THE PROTESTANTS INHERITED THE DAY-OF-THE-SUN “SABBATH” FROM THE CATHOLICS. THOSE WHO BELIEVE SUN-DAY IS THE SABBATH MIGHT NEED TO INVESTIGATE THE USE OF THE WORD “SABBATH” IN THE BOOK OF ACTS, IF THEY’VE BEEN LED TO THINK THE APOSTLES CHANGED THE DAY OF REST. ACTS WAS WRITTEN BY LUKE ABOUT 31 YEARS AFTER THE RESURRECTION AND ASCENSION. ALSO, YAHUSHUA (YAHSHUA) MADE THE ESCHATOLOGICAL STATEMENT, “PRAY THAT YOUR FLIGHT WILL NOT BE IN WINTER, OR ON THE SABBATH” MT. 24:20 — THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO MENTION IT IF HE INTENDED TO CHANGE WHICH DAY IS THE SHABBAT, SO WE WOULD KNOW ABOUT IT NOW. TAKE NOTE: HE MENTIONED THE SABBATH IN THE CONTEXT OF DESCRIBING EVENTS IN THE END TIMES. ALSO, THE CHURCH OF ROME FREELY ADMITS THERE IS NO SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR THE CHANGE, BUT IT WAS THE CHURCH ITSELF THAT MADE THE SABBATH CHANGE (CONSTANTINE). CONSULT DANIEL 7:25 ALSO, BECAUSE IT PREDICTED THIS CHANGE OF LAW. IS SUNDAY THE SABBATH? THAT’LL BE EASY TO FIGURE OUT ONCE YOU MAKE A STUDY OF IT ON YOUR OWN.

This article needs to be read by every seminary student, teacher, theologian, truck driver, architect, electrician, accountant, salesperson, – – – every person alive. So, are you deluded, or have you been awakened? Test yourself, and find out. The faith became “Hellenized” (transformed into a Pagan Greek format) over the first several centuries. Instead of Gentiles adopting the religion of the Messiah and joining Israel (Romans 11), they drew away and invented a religious system “about” the Messiah, but adheared to their former Pagan system and liturgical calendar.

Now after you have known Yahuweh, or rather, have become known of Yahuweh, how is it that you turn again to the powerless and miserable arrangements to which you desire again to be in bondage… I am afraid for you lest I have labored for you in vain. Galatians 4:9,11

We live in great and fearsome times, both exciting and terrible at the same time. Our generation will see more miraculous events than any other generation in history, as it is written in Yahchanan (John) 14:12

14:12 Truly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to My Father.

But we will also see tribulation greater than the world has ever seen, as it is written in Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 24:21

24:21 …there shall be tribulation great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

And because of these things both Yahuweh, and haSatan are preparing the soil and their people for the things that are to come. Yahuweh, preparing His people through the commandments of Torah and Testimony of Yeshua His Son to call people out of the Babylonian systems of the world; and haSatan preparing his people to receive him as god and messiah of the world by counterfeiting end time events to exalt himself, and to cast down truth to the ground; II Thessalonians 2:1-4, Daniel 8:9-12.

We are living in a time when the fullness of the Gentiles is coming to a close, and the stewardship of the Gospel, the Way of the Torah & Testimony, is being restored to the Jewish people. Spear-heading this movement back to the Hebrew roots and understanding of the Gospel is the Messianic movement which includes everything from Christians experimenting with Pesach and Hebraic expression in worship, to practicers of Judaism coming to recognize Yeshua as the Messiah, and everything in between. But at the heart of it all, is a return to the Hebrew expression and understanding of the Gospel as it was presented and understood by the early assembly. And through this understanding and return to the Hebrew roots of the Gospel, people by the thousands are coming out of Christianity and Judaism by combining their Faith in Yeshua with obedience to Torah, understanding the balance between Grace and obedience; and understanding and rejecting the lies that had been passed down to them. To those coming out of Christianity, this teaching is primarily directed.

In Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 16:19,20 it is written,

16:19 O Yahuweh, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, the nations (the gentiles) shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, worthless and of no benefit.” 16:20 Will a man make elohim (gods) for himself which are not Elohim?

This verse marks the epitome of the Messianic movement. The primary reason the vast majority of people in the Messianic community have joined this movement is because they have either discovered a truth about Scripture that they were not formerly aware of, or they have discovered that what they were formerly taught was a lie passed down to them through human traditions. Those coming out of the churches have learned that the lies handed down to them, or truth withheld from them, was through a tradition created by the universal (catholic) church of the Roman Empire and perpetuated through protestant Christianity, which is reform Catholicism. They have learned that Yeshua is Jewish, and King of the Jew; that the Apostles were Jews, and that the Scriptures in the entirety were inspired by Yahuweh through Jewish writers faithful to Torah. They have learned that the early assembly did not celebrate Mass for “Christ”; but rather, Succoth, symbolizing the time He came and “Tabernacled” with men on earth, and foretelling of when He will tabernacle again with man on earth during the Millennial Kingdom. And they have learned that the early assembly did not celebrate the fertility festival of Isht-r with her egg laying Isht-r bunny, but Pesach and First fruits, in remembrance of Yeshua as their Pesach Lamb, and as the First fruit of those who would be raised from the grave. They have learned that the Sabbath is still on the 7th day of the week, and not on S-nday; and that the Torah was not nailed to the stake or done away, but that it is the eternal standard of Yahuweh’s people. Yahuweh has called us out of Egypt, and out of Babylon, and continues to call us out to this day.

So how is it that now that we have responded to this calling, and forsaken these pagan assemblies called churches, that teach the Torah as done away; that reject Pesach, Succoth, the Sabbath and other set apart times; that declare obedience to be “legalism”, and that declare themselves as being full of the Spirit despite their utter rejection of Yahuweh’s ways, that we now desire to return to them for instruction?

These institutions which worship a Messiah who breaks Sabbath, treats the unholy pig as food; nails the Torah to the cross; replaces the Day of rest on the 7th day with the Catholic “venerable day of the Sun” on the 1st day (S-nday).

These religions which reject the Torah as Yahuweh’s standard of what sin is and is not, with their own human standard for sin. Who like King Saul, declare themselves to be in obedience, when in fact they are in rebellion to the commandments of Yahuweh, equating their own dead works as obedience as King Saul did.

These institutions which have defiled the inspired teachings of Scriptures with the doctrines and teachings of men; who have handed down lie upon lie to their congregants. Carnal minds, bitterly opposed to the Torah, and incapable of submitting to it. As it is written in Romans 8:7,8

8:7 …the carnal mind is bitterly opposed to Yahuweh, for it will not submit itself to the Torah of Yahuweh, nor indeed can it.

8:8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please Yahuweh.

It is the man of sin who cannot and will not submit to the Torah; and it is because of this unwillingness, and refusal to submit to Torah that they are not able to please Him. They are empty wells, clouds without rain, storms that seek to destroy every upright thing. Institutions of haSatan presenting themselves as messengers of Light, and as servants of Righteousness.

The Torah is spiritual, and it is only the spiritual man who is capable of embracing it and of submitting to it. It is only the spiritual man who can please Yahuweh. It is only those who obey the Torah of Yahuweh who can receive the Ruach haKadosh; and it is only through the Ruach haKadosh that we can receive the gifts of the Ruach.

As it is written in Ma’aseh (Acts) 5:32,

5:32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Ruach haKadosh whom Yahuweh has given to those who obey Him.

So we cannot even receive the Ruach haKadosh until we have committed ourselves to obeying Him. And we cannot to become a spiritual being until we receive the Ruach haKadosh; as it is written in Yahchanan (John) 3:5-7

3:5 …truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Ruach, he cannot enter the Kingdom of Yahuweh.

3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Ruach is spirit.

3:7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, “You must be born again”.

So here it is, we must obey Him to receive the Ruach haKadosh; we must receive the Ruach haKadosh to become a spiritual being; we must become a spiritual being to be able to fully walk out Torah; and we must walk out Torah to be able to please Him.

And so accordingly, our submission to Torah, and belief in the Testimony of Yeshua as the Messiah, is the evidence of the indwelling of the Ruach haKadosh in our lives.

And as it is written in Romans 8:9

8:9 …if anyone has not received the Ruach from Messiah, then he does not belong to Him.

So if such is the case, then why after coming out from among those who are bitterly opposed to Torah, who vehemently attack those who obey it as “legalism”, and who have no understanding of who the Messiah is and of what He taught – do we turn around and return to these false institutions, and to the perpetrators of the very lies we have exposed and rejected, in order to learn about how to heal? If we came out of Buddhism, would we turn back to Buddha to learn principles of healing? If we came out of Hinduism, would we turn back to those teachers of false deities to learn principles of healing?

Did Yeshua have to send His disciples to seminars, or to the unbelieving priests, or to the pagan sorcerers to teach them principals of healing?

These teachers do not even understand the Messiah who they claim to believe in. They are just as ignorant of who He is as most of us once were. These teachers all claim to be filled with the Ruach haKadosh, but yet do not even keep the very Torah that the Scriptures state are a pre-requisite to receiving the Ruach haKadosh. And not only do they not keep it, that actively reject and oppose it.

Yeshua states in Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 7:21-23 that many will stand before Him and claim to have done many miracles attributed to gifts of the Ruach; but Yeshua declared to them, “I never knew you, depart from Me you violators of Torah”. As it is written,

7:21 Not everyone who says to me, “Adonai, Adonai, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Adonai, Adonai, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and performed many miracles in Your name?’

7:23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me you violators of Torah.’

Yeshua states emphatically at the beginning of the “Sermon on the Mount” in Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 5:17-19, and immediately prior to giving almost 3 chapters of Torah teaching,

5:17 Do not even think that I came to do away with the Torah or Prophets. I did not come to destroy them, but to bring them out in fullness.

5:18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the least stroke of the pen will under any circumstance pass away until all things have been brought to completion.

5:19 Whoever therefore relaxes even the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whosoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

One of the prophecies of who Messiah would be when He arrived, and which is agreed upon as a Messianic passage by both Christians and Jews is D’varim (Deuteronomy) 18:18

18:18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.

And in Malachi 4:4 when prophesying in warning of the Great and Terrible Day of Yahuweh’s wrath it is written,

4:4 Remember the Torah given through Moshe My servant which I commanded Him in Horeb for all Israel with the appointed times and judgments.

This is what Moshe did. He was Torah giver and teacher, and Messiah was to be a prophet raised up like unto himself. This was brought to pass in Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 5 quoted above.

And whatever people believe Rav Shaul (the Apostle Paul) taught, one thing is for certain; he did not teach contrary to Yeshua’s teachings – He did not teach the Torah as “done away”.

As it is written in Ma’aseh (Acts) 25:8

25:8 Neither against the Torah of the Jews, nor against the Temple, nor against Caesar have I sinned in anything at all.

But yet “lawless” (Torahless) Christianity proclaims to be full of the Ruach of Elohim, and claims to have all the gifts of the Ruach, among which are the proclaimed gifts of tongues and healing. To produce the gifts of tongues, they train you by rubbing your throat, or by encouraging you to mumble some syllables, and declare that if nothing comes out then you do not have the “Spirit” and as such are not saved.

Then their is the “gift” of healing, where they send you to day long seminars to show you how to heal with the “Spirit”; as if it is something that needs to be learned.

These are the deceptions of haSatan. The gift of unknown tongues is the gift of a foreign language received without learning it. It is not something that is learned through a seminar or class. It is not something that can be coaxed through the rubbing of one’s throat or by learning how to mumble syllables. It is a gift. Received by whomever Yahuweh chooses to give it to, and which cannot be received or performed by any believer He chooses not to give it to.

Likewise, concerning healing, it is not something you learn at a seminar. The Scriptures are clear, as it is written in Ya’aqob (James) 5:14,

5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them anoint them with oil and pray over them in the Name of Yeshua.

5:15 And the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and Yeshua will raise him up; and if he has committed any violations of Torah, he will be forgiven. It is as simple as that.

When Yeshua sent out His talmidim (disciples) it is written in Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 10:6,7

10:7 …go and preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is near’.

10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Again, simple as that. He gave them the power, then commanded them to go out and use it. And as Ya’aqob (James) states, the prayer of faith will heal the sick.

In Ma’aseh (Acts) 3:6,7 Kepha healed a lame man by simply commanding healing in the Name of Yeshua, as it is written,

3:6 …then Kepha (Peter) said, ‘Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the Name of Messiah Yeshua of Nazareth, rise up and walk.’

3:7 and he took him by the hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

This has been my same experience. Never have I had to attend a seminar, or needed to return to lawless Christianity, or to recite long prayers to see somebody be healed. All I have ever had to do to see someone become healed is anoint them with oil, lay hands on them, and proclaim, “In the name of Yeshua be healed.” And there were times when I and the person being prayed over would both feel the healing even as I spoke. There was even one occasion when an individual was suffering from what appeared to be an epileptic seizure, and immediately everyone ran to her and started doing their Christian thing, babbling in tongues, with a half dozen hands on her, and praying a multitude of words in hope that Yahuweh would hear their prayer. And as I figured, nothing was happening. At this point I became distressed by the whole error, and walked up to her, anointed her with oil, and gently placed my hand on her while looking into her face, and before the words “In the Name of Yeshua be healed” could finish coming out of my mouth, her eyes immediately opened and she looked at me in the eyes in astonishment as we both knew instantaneously that she had been delivered as a direct result of that simple approach and prayer. She knew it and I knew it, that it was not through the vain repetitions, or through the prayers of a dozen people, or even through me that she was delivered, but through the simple words, “In the Name of Yeshua be healed”, that she received her deliverance.

So why is it that we feel a need to go back to the pagan temples of lawless religion to learn how to heal when the process is listed plainly in the B’rit Chadasha? Have we no faith in the Name of Yeshua to heal? Is it not due to our lack of faith that we feel compelled to have to go to a seminar to “learn” how to heal?

Are not these seminars really about our lack of faith? Isn’t the real reason why we say long prayers is because we feel Yahuweh may not hear us if we don’t say something fancy?

Isn’t the real reason why we have a dozen people lay hands on someone is because we do not believe that the prayer of one righteous person, or of the eldership is sufficient? And because we do not believe that a simple command in His name is enough? Would we consider communicating to the dead to learn about the living? Absolutely not! So why then go to idolatrous and pagan saturated, Torah rejecting churches, to learn about the ways of healing? Should not a people seek rather their Elohim?

To the Torah and the Testimony, if anyone does not speak according to these words, it is because they have no Light in them; Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 8:20.

Likewise, how many have had to pay money to learn “how to heal”? Did Yeshua ever require payment before he allowed the gift of healing to be received?

In Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 10:8 after giving His talmidim (disciples) power, He said, 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Likewise, it is written in Ma’aseh (Acts) 8:17-23 when Simon tried to buy the gift of the Ruach haKadosh,

8:20 Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of Elohim could be purchased with money…

8:22 Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray to Elohim if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you…

Mishlei (Proverbs) 6:23 states:

6:23 … the commandment is a lamp, and the Torah is Light. and Yahchanan (John) 8:12 states concerning Yeshua,

8:12 I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of life.

And in I Yahchanan (I John) 1:7

1:7 …if we walk in the Light as Yahuweh is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Messiah Yeshua His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Disease is the consequence of Torah violation (of sin). Non-disease related sickness is also in this world due to Torah violation (sin). The immune system can handle general sickness, we need not pray out of necessity for this. However, disease is beyond the ability of the immune system to heal apart from strict Torah observance, and often times by direct intervention by Yeshua Himself as well.

The Torah is Light. Yeshua is Light. And it is only through this Light that we can be freed from Torah-violation, and the consequences thereof.

As Yeshua stated in Yahchanan (John) 5:1-14 to the man healed of the inability to walk for 38 years,

5:14 …See, you have been healed. Violate Torah no more (sin no more) lest a worse thing come upon you.

And if we walk in the Light as Yahuweh is in the Light then the blood of His Son cleanses us of all sin, and heals us of all disease. And why does He do this in answer to our prayer? Because as I Yahchanan (I John) 3:22 states:

3:22 …whatever we ask of Him we receive, because we obey His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

The church is Torahless, and therefore full of darkness. And it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14

6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with Torahlessness? And what communion has Light with darkness?

As Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 7:21-23 makes clear, it is not the profession of the Messiah that causes one to be a believer, but the profession of the Messiah within the context of a Torah obedient lifestyle that causes one to be a true believer, one acceptable by Yahuweh.

Even Judah Iscariot, the demons, and haSatan all acknowledged Yeshua as the Messiah, as the Son of the Most High Elohim; but none of them combined their profession of faith with obedience to Torah.

Do not seek out as teachers those who reject the righteous standards of Yahuweh as wickedness, and who uplift Torah violation as acceptable in His sight.

You cannot fellowship at table of Yahuweh, and at the table of demons; I Corinthians 10:21.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:8,9 the false messiah is referred to in the Greek as the “Torahless” One, and will have power to perform all manner of miracles.

As it is also written in Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 24:24 (and detailed in Revelation 13),

24:24 …the false messiah and false prophet will arise and show great signs and miracles so as to deceive, if possible, the very elect.

And in Revelation 11 this “beast” will be the only one who is able to successfully oppose and kill Yahuweh’s two witnesses.

So here we have it, the one who will falsely claim to be the messiah, and who will stand against Torah, and who will kill Yahuweh’s two prophets, is also that same one who will be able to perform miracles so amazing that it will be difficult even for the elect to discern the counterfeit messiah from the real.

And what are we doing? We are going to lawless, charismatic churches that exalt a Torahless, sabbath breaking, pig eating messiah that periodically kills any Jews that do not believe their way, and who claim tremendous “miracle working” abilities. Can when any closer to the traits of “the Beast” than this prior to the Beast’s actual appearance? We are going to those who fit the criteria of Mattit’yahu (Matthew) 7:21-23 and the other verses stated above, precisely. What do we expect to learn from them? Truth? Are they going to teach us who the Messiah really is? Are they going to teach us about the eternal nature and soundness of the Torah of Yahuweh? Or maybe they will teach us about the feast days, appointed times, and Shabbats? Maybe we should go to them to learn that His name is Yeshua and not J-sus? Or go to them to learn about the dietary laws that Yahuweh gave us for good health?

Ask yourself. What can they possibly teach you that the Hebrew understanding of the Scriptures and Gospel cannot teach you? There is a reason that you left the church, and that reason is most likely the fact that they do not know the truth, but have handed down lies to you. Most probably in ignorance, but many with deliberate intent and/or indifference to the truth. These are the same ones who are going to be killing us in the name of J-sus when the false messiah comes out, even as they have always done periodically over the centuries.

There is only one way to truly heal, and that is through the Name Yeshua. It is His name that heals and nothing more. It is not in the abundance of words spoken, or in the number of people praying, or in the number of hands laid. It is not about any procedure so complex that one would have to go to a weekend long seminar to learn it. Plain and simple. If anyone is sick, the elder(s) are to anoint them with oil, lay hands upon them, and pray that they be healed in the Name of Yeshua. And if they have committed any sins, they must repent of them, and they will be forgiven. Otherwise, they risk the return of the disease or sickness, or even the possibility of dying in their sin.

So keep it simple, keep it within the context of the Faith, and with faith. Not looking to the faithless or lawless for our instruction. But trusting the Scriptures and in the awesome power of the Name of Yeshua.

Let us not return as a dog to its vomit, or to the dead works or institutions of our past errors; but go on to live and learn in the Light. In the Light of Torah, and of Yeshua; and may all be eternally blessed who follow these instructions.
